Welcome to the Best Stock To Buy Now blog.
Every tool on this site (the screeners, the DCF calculator, the Altman Z″-Score Screener, the crash indicators) answers the same kind of question: what do the numbers say, right now, applying a fixed, disclosed rule with no discretionary override. That's deliberate, and it's not changing. But a rule doesn't explain itself, and "right now" isn't the whole story. That's what this blog is for.
What you'll find here
Expect three kinds of posts. First, methodology explainers: why we use the Altman Z″-Score instead of the original 1968 version, why the DCF baseline uses a two-stage model with specific growth and discount assumptions, why margin of safety is computed the way it is: the reasoning behind the rule, not just the rule itself. Second, honest notes on what changed: when a market regime shift makes an old assumption stop holding up, or when a tool surfaces something worth explaining in more than a tooltip. Third, occasional case studies, walking through how a specific rule actually played out, including the times it produced a result that looks strange until you see why.
What you won't find here
No "top 10 stocks to buy this month," no hot takes on a single day's price move, and no opinions dressed up as analysis. If a post ever recommends anything, it'll point back to a rule you can inspect on the screener or read about in full on Editorial Standards, not a personal call. That's the same standard the rest of this site holds itself to, and this blog isn't an exception to it.
What's next
We'll add a post whenever there's something genuinely worth explaining, not on a fixed schedule just to keep a publishing streak alive. Check back, or keep an eye on the homepage and this site's FAQ for what's new.
